Men in yellow lift the cup

Murali Vijay's scintillating knock has came to an end but not before he along with Hussey have put Chennai at victory doors. Vijay made 58 runs before miscuing a one from Boje.Chasing 129 runs for victory, Murali Vijay and Mike Hussey started the proceedings on a cautious note as Warriors kept tight line and length. Muralitharan took three wickets as Chennai Super Kings restricted Warriors to 128/7 after Jacobs won the toss and elected to bat first.

Spinners are in full swing at The Wanderers as Warriors kept losing wickets and failed to get on with the momentum. Botha was the last casualty as Ashwin got his second wicket. What a over it was from Muralitharan. The experienced campaigner got rid off Mark Boucher and then stunned Warriors by dislodging Justin Kreusch.
Colin Ingram was a soft dismissal as Suresh Raina took a good running catch. But the big news from the centre is- Mark Boucher has come to the crease.
MS Dhoni brought spin legend Muttiah Muralitharan into the attack to slow up the proceedings for Warriors.

R Ashwin got the most valuable man of the tournament by getting rid off Davey Jacobs. Jacobs went for a reverse sweep and missed the line. A plumb lbw. Doug Bollinger gave Chennai its first breakthrough of the evening when he sent back Ashwell Prince for 6 runs.Davey Jacobs made sure that Warriors start on the front foot after they scored 27 runs off the first three overs. Earlier, Warriors captain Davey Jacobs won the toss and elected to bat first against Chennai Super Kings in the title ACL T20 clash.
