Would Fabregas join Man City?

Although rumours have predominately circulated around the speculation regarding Cesc Fabregas joining Barcelona this summer, there has been little talk of Cesc ending up playing in England for another club, despite the fact that he could easily double or triple his wages at another English side.

With Champions League winners Barcelona now looking less and less like they need the services of Fabregas, the chances of him earning his dream move now seem even more remote than usual, leaving the Spaniard in a situation in which he needs to decide if he is going to remain loyal to Arsenal and stick with the club through thick and thin, or finally give in to the desire to win trophies and increase his salary at another side. Those who bet football money will know City appear to be on the up.

Having only initially left Barcelona to get games under his belt, Fabregas has now played so often in his youth that he is already suffering from a longstanding hamstring problem that seems to be restricting his running and is threatening to ruin his career.

Despite these problems, he is still seen as a player who is fairly hot property in the Premier League and is certainly a man who can take a side from being good to world class. The transfer rumours will no doubt link him with several clubs this summer.

With Manchester City possessing near bottomless pockets and also the priceless ability to offer Champions League football to new players, the chances of Fabregas turning down any interest from them would surely only be based on loyalty, and with Cesc having already walked out on his boyhood side, you can’t imagine that he is going to feel that bad about leaving North London.
