Win in Dunhill Links gives Hoey a new self belief

Dunhill Links Championship winner Michael Hoey says he has enjoyed his recent success more since it has come after a long period of struggle.

The 32 year old admitted he had struggled with his self belief in the past.

Hoey played in the US Masters in two thousand and two and then turned pro.

He then missed his card at the qualifying school and had to struggle through 6 years of qualifying school.

Hoey is now looking forward to playing in WGC-HSBC Champions, his first World Golf Championship event.
